Built for ambitious multi-day missions, the Zerk 55 balances volume and agility, giving us dependable control during the longest stretches of the season.
Long routes with heavy mileage require space, structure, and efficiency, and the Zerk 55 Backpack from Mountainsmith is tuned for those demands. Its roll-top main compartment holds up to 53 litres of gear, with an additional 5 litres available in the top area when expanded. Four modular compression straps secure shelter components, pads, or layers, keeping the load tight as terrain shifts from ridgeline traverses to forest descents.
Wide EVA-padded shoulder straps distribute weight comfortably, supported by adjustable sternum straps that refine fit across long ascents. Front-strap pockets offer immediate access to bottles, snacks, or bear spray, while the expansive stretch mesh panel provides flexible hauling for wet gear or quick-shed layers. Reflective features improve visibility, and the removable waistbelt with dual pockets helps stabilize heavier loads on variable ground.

WildAir Outdoors ship all orders via Australia Post. Depending on where you are located, we offer the following shipping options:
- Australian Standard Shipping: Generally, takes between 3-5 business days to major cities and suburbs following dispatch, may take longer for more remote areas (e.g. WA and NT)
- Australian Express Shipping: Generally, takes 1-3 business days to major cities and suburbs following dispatch, may take longer for more remote areas (e.g. WA and NT)
- New Zealand Standard Shipping: Generally, takes 5-10 business days following dispatch

Return for Refund
To return a product for a refund, product must be returned unused and in its original packaging (as relevant) within 4 weeks of purchase.
